The Wood Pellet Association of Canada is a member-driven organization advancing the interests of Canadian wood pellet producers. Our goal is to help members grow through promoting the role of wood pellets in the Canadian and global markets, supporting market and technical research, and encouraging fair and open trade.
The CANplus & ENplus standards cover the complete supply chain for wood pellets, from the initial production to the delivery at the final customer. The CANplus & ENplus standards therefore ensures high quality and transparency. The CANplus & ENplus quality seal provides the costumers the confidence that they are buying the best quality of pellets.
Wood Pellet Association of Canada is the National Licensor for the ENplus ™ wood pellet certification system and is the owner of CANplus ™ wood pellet trademark. CANplus & ENplus information for Canadian wood pellet producers, traders and service providers are compiled here.
The CANplus is fully recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in its New Source Performance Standard (NSPS), for the use in residential pellet stoves.
