Pellet Quality Assurance in Canada

by Wood Pellet Association of Canada

The quality of your wood pellets matters. Wood pellet production and finished quality is carefully monitored by the pellet mills and verified through the internationally respected and third-party quality certification ENplus®.

Canadian pellet producers certified to this standard may use both ENplus® and the Canplus seal of quality. These logos verify that the pellets are high quality and provide consistent pellet characteristics for smooth operations and minimum maintenance costs.

The Wood Pellet Association of Canada is the national licensor of the ENplus® quality program in Canada and owns the Canplus trademark. The ENplus® certification was established in 2011. With a projected 13 million tonnes of certified pellets to be produced in 2021, ENplus® today is the world-leading certification scheme for wood pellet quality – produced and traded by over 1000 companies from over 46 countries. You can learn more about ENplus® here.
