Lynne Patenaude

Manager, Fuels Section, Environment and Climate Change Canada

Lynne Patenaude is the Manager of the Fuels Section in the Energy and Transportation Directorate at Environment and Climate Change Canada. She is a mechanical engineer who has been with ECCC for over 25 years, working on environmental protection issues ranging from oil and gas, renewables, waste management, consumer product labelling, emission inventories and most recently fuels. Lynne’s team leads the development and implementation of federal fuels regulations. They are currently working on development of a Clean Fuel Standard for Canada as part of the federal implementation of the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change.
