Sebnem Madrali

Sebnem Madrali is a chemical engineer by training with over 20 years of experience in the energy R&D sector and the last 12 years specifically on bioenergy.
As a senior research engineer at CanmetENERGY, Natural Resources Canada, she leads projects on advancing development and implementation of heat and power generation from biomass residues and biomass fuels, and working together with industry, government, and academic stakeholders from the agriculture, forestry, and energy sectors.

She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey, and her PhD from Imperial College of University of London, UK.
